For the 12th edition, the Advisory Board, made up of nine professionals from the hotel segment, defined 37 categories.

According to information from Revista Hotéis (Hotels Magazine), the organizer of the award: “Voting for suppliers is only open to professionals who work in hotels. Suppliers can vote in the categories Best Chain/Hotel that relates, architect and hotel implementer. It is understood as suppliers - commercial representatives of companies which supply hotels, developers, builders, architects specifying products and services.”

To vote it's necessary to enter your CPF, Name, Position, Company and E-mail. After choosing your favorites, an email is sent for confirmation, thus preventing any fraud.

In 2022, there were more than 4 thousand votes and the expectation for this year is even greater given the new categories included. These are the new categories: Hotel Architect; Decorative Lighting, External and Internal Visual Communication; Sustainable Equipment and Solutions; Floor Decoration Coating Company; Manufacturer of Custom-Made Furniture and Joinery; Tools for Rate Distribution, Availability and Sales and Hotel Booking/Sales and Distribution Channels.

Due to this update this year Desbravador is running in the following categories:
