THE LISBON TOURISM BOLSA (BTL) IS GOING TO START!

Desbravador has everything ready for the start of Bolsa Turismo Lisboa (BTL), an event that will move Portugal in the coming days. 

Starting on March 1st and ending on March 5th, 2023, the first two days (Wednesday and Thursday) will be dedicated exclusively to industry professionals. From Friday to Sunday (March 3, 4 and 5), it will be the turn to receive the public in general. 

For the 2023 edition, one of the best tourism fairs in the world expects to exceed the number of visitors, which in 2022 was 45 thousand.  

In addition to receiving this entire audience, BTL will also bring together the biggest brands and companies linked to the universe of tourism. In the last edition there were more than 1,400 exhibitors. 

Therefore, it is a great opportunity for participants to learn about trends, new destinations, as well as launches to improve the sector's operations. 

The focus of the fair is also turned to technology and will have an exclusive area for demonstrating trends and innovations, to promote the digital transition of the tourism business.

BTL SPACES 

In addition to visiting Desbravador team, the public will be able to visit other BTL themed spaces. 

BTL CULTURAL: A space for cultural agents focused on promoting tourism. There will be a program to discuss the challenges and reflect on the reality of the sector. 

BTL LAB: The BTL Lab stage will receive prominent figures to raise questions about innovation in the tourism industry, debate and exchange experiences on technological challenges and trends in different market sectors. 

BTL VILLAGE: Premium space, and at the same time, informal for networking. It will be open at lunchtime, exclusively for partner companies, hotel groups and event organizers. In the last edition, BTL VILLAGE received more than 1000 people. 

BTL AUDITORIUM: The main point of conferences and networking. Official venue for the lectures, which will have transversal and relevant themes for the tourism sector. 

BTL WINE TOURISM: Area dedicated to the public of wine tourism in Portugal, so that companies can advertise products and services and promote the activity. In addition, it will be an important point for negotiating and selling products related to the world of wine. 

BTL FESTIVALS: Exhibition area for promotion and presentation of promoters and national and international festivals, space for informal conversations with the main players in the sector. 

BTL LGBTI+: According to the World Tourism Organization, LGBTI+ tourism represents 10% of the world's tourism volume and is responsible for 15% of the sector's revenue. BTL's new LGBTI+ area is an opportunity to position your brand, meet other businesses/entrepreneurs and reimagine your company's offer in the face of the growing demand for this segment in Portugal. 

BTL MEETING INDUSTRY: Exhibition and business area for companies operating in the professional tourism segment (B2B). 

BTL KIDS ROUTE: On the 4th and 5th of March there will be a special program for children who visit the fair. The little ones will receive a passport at the entrance with an indication of companies with some attraction for this public. After visiting the stand and participating in the game or interaction, they will receive a stamp for having completed the action developed by the exhibitor.
